The added Power of Networking

Many professional women in Network support each other hugely business wise, offering each other ideas and information all of the time.

One of the hidden bonuses of being involved in such a network is that women then help each other out with ‘extra curricular’ events as well, with great effect.

It was a pleasure to attend such an event at Moveison, business of Network member Melanie Winstanley, in May. Mel was supporting her husband Chris to fundraise for the Oncology association of the Algarve, an organisation which Network has supported in the past through our involvement with Mamaratona.

It was a joy to see and listen to Karen Carfrae provide excellent entertainment with husband Ian in Class Act, and to know that many members had donated prizes for the raffle, including Vicki from Hotel Garbe, Marilyn from Sweet Marilyn, Sheena from the Resident – and many more members supported the event with their presence. The event raised over two thousand euros, remarkable by any standard.

Women who network really do gain in many more ways than you might imagine – a big congrats all round.
